My X1000 is having some boot problems recently and I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same thing and would offer some advice. When I try to start the machine it will start to boot and then just die right before it goes to the Windows XP screen. It doesn't always respond to the power button like I think it should, but it's been doing that for a while now. I have to push it numerous times to get it to start, then it dies! It runs fine when I get it going, but I dread shutting the system down. It could be a problem with the motherboard, I suppose. Or it could have something to do with the new wireless mouse I got the other day. I noticed that it restarted first try when I took the USB reciever out. Maybe it doesn't like my mouse? Any help would be appreciated. Also, while we are on the subject, every now and then then my keyboard will just stop working and I have to reboot to get it going again. Any ideas there?
