Battery won't charge

Hi all.

My nx7000 (coming up for three years old, one replacement graphics card and a new hard disk so far) is giving me more problems - the battery refuses to charge.  I've replaced the AC charger, after having problems running the laptop at all, and now it'll run fine off AC power but no charging takes place.  Is this more likely to be the battery or some charging circuitry inside the laptop?

Cheers,
Mark

That's a nearly impossible call to make.  You need to find another battery to test with if possible.  But, I'd hunch towards battery.

Thanks.  Funnily enough, the battery is charging fine at the moment, although there's been one time it didn't.  Guess I'll order a new battery and try that next time I'm having the problem.

I find it strange that this kind of fault can be intermittent!

Most batteries are only good for about 2 years.... Mine works but only gives me 30 mins of power... bought new replacement... back to 3 1/2 hours.... Old battery is going on 3 years old about now as well!
