Notorious Video Problem

I have begun to get the video flicker, lockup, and no boot with x1050us.  I have gone as far as to purchase a new video card and motherboard.  Neither have fixed the problem.  Any suggestions on what to look at next.  Most of the time, if I press on the VGA cable connector to the motherboard, the screen clears up.  Has anyone had luck replacing that cable and having it fix the problem.

I figure by changing the Video Card and motherboard, I have eliminated some of the more obvious problems/parts.

Thanks,

Scott
