Thanks for the tip! But I now find that the droppng speed is happening with the other machines too!

Thanks. I'll try it. Changing from windows zero config to Intel proset management didn't help either

I downloaded a new driver and installed. Still, the speed drops from 54mbps down to 1mbps in about 10 minutes and never rises.

I can get back to 54 by "repairing the connection" but then the cycle starts all over again.

It's an OEM wireless card. Should I try switching from Windows zero config?

When I first log on wirelessly with my ZT3000 Custom build it indicates that my connection speed is 54mbs. But that speed continues to drop to 36 than to 24 and even down to 1mpbs. It never gets back to speed. I have installed a new cable modem but the problem still exists. It's not my router either as I have two other ZT3000's in the family and they don't have the problem.

Any suggestions as to how I can fix mine?
