Title: AC 97 Modem nx7000 problem
Post by: egopfe on September 28, 2005, 03:34:27 AM
Hi, I'm trying to use the AC97 modem on my laptop.

With kernel 2.6.13.2 and alsa (slmodemd) daemon I recognize my modem.
minicom and vwdial seems to work with that modem.

The only problem I get is the I got every time the NO CARRIER issue.

Naturally, the same phone line with the same modem is working under Windows XP :-)

below is the output of slmodemd and the vwdial daemon.

Any help would be appreciated

HERE THE ALSA MODEM RECOGNITION AND DIALING
