Title: Upgrades on NX7000

Hello,

I have a NX7000 HD 40 GO, RAM 1,2 Go, original CPU centrino 1.4 GHz.

I would like to know if its possible to updrade :
-CPU : I saw "dan" put a 1,6 Ghz but it is possible to put more? if yes, how much?
-HDD : I would like to know how it is possible to put? 160 Go, more?

I'm not sure how far the processor can be upgraded, the key is to figure out what kind of socket it uses (mPGA 479, etc.) and find a processor that falls within the Dothan series.  I believe they went up to 2.0 GHz, but don't quote me on that.  Also, they may be hard to find.

As for the hard drive, any 2.5" ATA-6 notebook drive should work (Example (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136114), but I don't guarantee it will work, it should though).  The key is to find the proper interface and everything else should be fine.  I know someone else on here just put in a 160GB drive and it did work well.
