HP Total Care is HP software you can run on your laptop (under Windows XP only) to see what drivers, hardware, software and such you have on it and do some other stuff like check for driver updates. Download HP Total Care from hp.com:

I have tried it, but some of the features are only for newer laptops.  I didn't find it very useful myself, but YMMV.
